Hi! How have you been? It's almost time!

Hi! How have you been? It's almost time!

Hi!  How have you been?

Hope all has been well in your world!  Have you been enjoying being in the water lately or are you bundled up counting the days until it all thaws out?

The last time I wrote, it was Fall and I had just received the new wetsuit samples and announced a pre-arrival sale.  Thank-you to all the people who tried on the new samples, gave feedback and offered measurements since October at the National Women's Show in Ottawa and Toronto, DEMA in Las Vegas, and most recently onboard the Turks & Caicos Explorer II where I was working over the winter holidays.  All of that information has helped me finalize the sizing for all 21 sizes and the final order is in, they are currently in production and they are scheduled to arrive in Canada/USA at the end of April!  I will connect with everyone who pre-purchased to confirm sizes and shipping addresses and to update you as the arrival date gets closer and more accurate.

If you missed the original sale back in November 2018, I'm excited to let you know that I've decided to offer a second (not as good, but still discounted!!) sale for the month of February!  This is available online as well as at my upcoming shows!  The discount code is:  WOOHOO20 to receive 20% off the Truli-Hapi and Truli-Ful the Beautiful wetsuits between today and February 28th.  As a reminder, you will receive your new wetsuit as soon as the inventory arrives as scheduled at the end of April.

It's funny how things work out the way they do.  I remember making the decision to invest in exhibiting at trade shows in 2018.  It was expensive and I wasn't sure how things would go, but it ended up being the best decision I could've made.  The in-person interactions with everyone allowed me to truli understand what women wanted and needed from a wetsuit and gave me a clear direction in where to bring my business.  For 2019, I'm extending my reach and have registered for select shows in the USA in addition to the ones in Ontario close to home (ROADTRIP!!).  As well, I am starting to take bookings for anyone who is interested in co-hosting Truli pop-up events.  I'd like to connect with shops that are interested in supporting their female customer-base to set-up events geared to women held at their shop.   Women can come in, be professionally fitted for a Truli in a private, respectful and fun environment and take advantage of any other sales happening in the shop at the time.  All 21 sizes will be available to try on and purchases are made at the shop and then shipped directly to the shop for pick up within the next 2 weeks.  I will be booking these from May 2019 - let me know if you or anyone you know might be interested!  In the meantime take a look at the current schedule, and please do come by and see me!  Message me for tickets to any of the shows or if you'd like to help out - I'd love to see!

Another decision for 2019 that I had been thinking about for quite some time now is how much I'd really love for Truli to be able to contribute to the marine sport community in some way.  My professional background is in the non-profit world.  Supporting causes whenever I can is an important part of building up community and supporting those in need.  Non-profit workers are passionate individuals who contribute their skills and expertise in areas that need a lot of attention.  As Truli grows, I want to make sure I can put a spotlight on those organizations that are aligned with Truli's mission that its customers always serve as ambassadors to the marine environment.  If we want to continue to enjoy all the benefits that the water gives to us, we need to learn and understand it.  Education is an important aspect in advocacy, which is why I have chosen to support Sharks4Kids by donating 1% of all wetsuit sales in 2019Read more about this amazing organization and why it means so much to me.

With all these new and exciting things that are happening at Truli, I wanted to top it all off with an announcement and soft launch of a new Truli website that has been in development since last year!   I've spent a lot of time thinking about this and working with the designers to create something that reflects the Truli brand while making it easy to purchase online.  In addition, I am working to ensure representation of all body shapes, ages, ethnicities of women in water sports.  This has been a truli fascinating part of the business that I can't wait to tell you about in my upcoming blog, so stay tuned!  In the meantime, here's a snippet of what the new website will look like NOTE:  The images below will be updated as I get new ones!

The next E-Letter will go out in May!

If you haven't done so already, please do leave a review of your Truli Wetsuit on the Facebook Page or on any of the product pages (scroll down under the product images):
