Return and/or Exchange

I know how daunting online shopping for apparel and especially water sports gear can be.  If you are anything like me, you may get a little nervous and wonder “What if this doesn’t fit me?” 

In order to calm those nerves, I've started a service that gives you the option  to receive 2 - 3 sizes with your order.  Since the size differences are so small and everyBODY is so different in shape, comfort, and needs, this allows you to choose the best size for you in the shortest amount of time in the comfort of your own home.

TERMS:

Customers in Canada or the USA who purchase online may receive more than one wetsuit size in their shipment to determine which size is the best fit.  Customers are contacted when the order is placed to confirm the size and if they would like to receive size options.

DEPOSIT:

A 50% credit card deposit on the extra wetsuits for sizing purposes is required to take advantage of this option.  The deposit is refunded in full upon the return of the extra wetsuits.  Wetsuits that have only been tried on (not used) and in perfect condition must be returned within 10 days of receiving them and following the exact instructions provided by email or the full refund may not be issued.  

If the extra wetsuits for sizing purposes are not returned within 10 days, the deposit is retained and you are charged the remaining balance for the cost of the wetsuits.

RETURN SHIPPING REFUND:

The shipping cost to return the extra wetsuits for sizing purposes will be refunded up to the original amount paid for shipping.

EXCHANGE:

If you did not place the Deposit and receive extra wetsuits for sizing purposes, any requirement for exchange is at your expense.  You will be billed in advance. 

However, if the wetsuit that you purchase is not a good fit, follow these instructions...

FULL REFUND:

Please email me at hello@TruliWetsuits.com with an explanation.  I will advise you of the exact return shipping address (not necessarily the one on your invoice) and specific instructions. 

You may return your wetsuit for a full refund within 10 days of receiving it.  The wetsuit that has only been tried on (not used) and in perfect condition must be returned following the exact instructions provided by email or the full refund may not be issued.  The return cost of shipping up to the original amount you paid will be issued upon receipt of the wetsuits if there is a receipt.  

 

*In the instance that a delivery was unsuccessful, and the purchased item has been returned to sender, we will refund the transaction/arrange to re-send.

Wetsuit Warranty

I conducted extensive testing of all of the Truli Wetsuits and confidently stand behind the quality of these products.  For your peace of mind, I have established a limited 24-month warranty from date of original purchase in the unlikely case that there is a defect in your purchase.  

This wetsuit warranty applies to manufacturing and material defects, such as seam separations or issues with stitching.  Other issues will be handled on a case by case basis.  Warranty claims should be submitted by the original owner of the new wetsuit to mia@TruliWetsuits.com and include:

  • Description of the defect
  • Photos of the defect
  • Receipt 

Once a claim has been submitted, it will be reviewed by Mia at Truli Wetsuits.  Once authorized, the (dry!) wetsuit should be shipped at the customer's expense to Truli Wetsuits in Toronto, Canada for final review.  Submission of a claim does not guarantee a replacement or repair.  Each claim will be evaluated on a case by case basis.  Truli Wetsuits reserves the right to deny a claim.

Warranty Does not Include:

  • Glideskin material on front/back/trim
  • Colour fading
  • Natural wear and tear, including pilling
  • Failure to follow the instructions of care and maintenance of your Truli Wetsuit
  • Misuse or negligence
  • Wetsuits used for non-recreational purposes, such as, but not limited to, water sport instruction or rental
  • Purchases made from unauthorized sellers and/or websites
  • Wetsuits sold "as is"

Depending on the defect, a replacement, credit, or repair may be offered by Truli Wetsuits once all necessary documentation has been provided by the customer and approved.  The replacement of the exact product is dependent upon availability; credit is up to the value of the original product purchased without tax. 

Shipping/handling/customs/duties are not included for any shipments involved in a warranty claim.
